Sheri Minter

Sheri began her Montessori career as an assistant/aftercare coordinator  in 1997 at Montessori of Mt Pleasant. She received her AMS paraprofessional training in 1999 and began working at Charles Towne Montessori School in 2001 as a toddler teacher. Her love of working with this age group in a Montessori environment prompted her to further her Montessori training at the Center for Montessori Teacher Education in New York in 2002.  Ms. Sheri is a certified Montessori teacher in children ages birth to 6 years old.  She went on to receive her RIE (Resources for Infant Educators) training in 2006.
In 2008 traveled to Uganda to set up a toddler Montessori environment and train teachers for the Victoria Montessori School in Entebbe.
She joined the Trinity Montessori staff in 2013 after moving from Nashville with her 1 year old daughter and husband.
When asked why she chose to pursue a career in Montessori education she said, “The thing I love about Montessori, especially at the toddler level, is the trust relationship that exists between the teachers and students. We trust that the child can do things for themselves. It's amazing how much a toddler can actually do if we trust and allow them to show us rather than doing everything for them.”
